Fall 2015 Haute Couture
The Lebanese Fashion Designer, is once again leaving us dreaming about his fabulous dresses. For the FW15 collection he has remain loyal to nude palette, emphasising gold and sequins details.
Inspired by his first collection in the 90’s, ES presents a fabulous haute couture show, where sparkling dresses, gold tiaras, metallic bags and the not so high hills confirm the elegance.
Giving such a personal signature to this show, ES has created a wedding dress with golden ornaments, inspired by his own wedding 25 years ago with Claudine. Beautiful and inspiring moment that proof that romance never gets out of fashion.
Few days after, Elie Saab has presented his new boutique in Paris.
After his couture show on Wednesday in Paris, Elie Saab welcomed an eclectic crowd to toast his new boutique on Avenue George V. Among them were Clotilde Courau, Chantal Thomass, Françis Kurkdjian, Caroline Vreeland, Carlos Ghosn and former “CSI” star Gary Dourdan.
It turns out Dourdan’s no stranger to fashion: his mother is a designer and his sister also works in the industry. “I’m always around clothes,” he said.
In fact, he admits to being a bit of a multi-tasker. “I act, I sing, I play music, I wash windows, I clean floors…” he confided. At the moment, his projects revolve around making music, which was his main reason for being in town. “It’s acid jazz, funk and soul, a mélange of good American music,” he said of his style.
Kurkdjian, meanwhile, was feeling the effects of his ever-busy schedule.
“I’m so tired I can’t talk,” he said. “The problem is, I don’t know how to listen to my body when it tells me to slow down. That comes from my training as a ballet dancer.”
